The reliable Panzer III is the most common tank on the eastern front. These tanks were up-gunned and up-armoured when Soviet medium tanks started to arrive in numbers. New models were quickly integrated into the platoons to replace combat losses. As a result, many platoons were equipped with a mix of tanks, which makes for very interesting units.
