Flesh and Blood TCG at Game Kastle Orange Beach
Flesh and Blood is a trading card game published by Living Legend Studios (LSS), a studio based out of New Zealand. Players play as fantasy-themed heroes that battle to the death in fighting game-style matches. Flesh and Blood is designed to be the premier competitive card game, with tournament-play being the primary consideration during the creation of every mechanic and card.
Getting Started
At Game Kastle Orange Beach, come in for a 1 on 1 session any Saturday at 4:30, or make an appointment with store staff! 1 on 1 sessions are free, and you even get free cards to jumpstart your collection! If you enjoy the 1 on 1, join in on the Armory event – a casual weekly Flesh and Blood tournament – scheduled at 5:00 on Saturdays after every learn-to-play! Free demo decks are available for newcomers to use in their first Armories!
Player Growth
New players can engage with the game in many ways as they get comfortable. Decks for the popular format Silver Age – a quicker and budget-friendly format – are available for sale at the store and are competitive out of the box! These decks are low-investments that are a great way to start playing with something you own, and they can be played during Game Kastle Orange Beach’s occasional Silver Age Armories or in The Dueling Ring!
The Dueling Ring is a seasonal ladder league created and hosted by store staff that resets every couple of months and is organized on the store’s discord. The Dueling Ring is a casual, play-when-you-can option for players that cannot make it to Armories or just want to play more Flesh and Blood!
When players feel ready to move on to the primary format of Flesh and Blood – Classic Constructed – they may start building their own deck or pick up one of the ready-to-play Armory decks offered at the store! Free online resources exist to help you in your journey of making your own deck, like Fabrary to organize and save your list, and Felt Table and Talishar for playtesting against bots or other players! A Classic Constructed Deck will allow you to play in most Armories with your own deck, and even go on to play in tournaments around the world if you enjoy the game enough to take it to the next level!
