What is Warhammer 40k?

Produced by Games Workshop, Warhammer 40k is the largest and most popular tabletop wargaming hobby in the world. Create thrilling stories and tabletop battles in a rich science fiction universe set in a grim future. Players enact battles using plastic miniatures of Space Marines, alien Tyranids, and many other exciting factions.

Collect, Build, and Paint

We recommend starting with the Core Rulebook, a faction Codex, and a Combat Patrol Box of your choice. This will give you a strong foundation to build an army with and you can begin playing right away. You may also begin with a Starter Set which will contain enough for 2 players to get started. There are a lot of options, choose the faction that resonates with you the most!

• Core Rulebook: This is the main rulebook that everyone will want to have
• Codex: Each faction will have a Codex book that explains the different options available to build your army, the background and lore of the faction, artwork, and more.
• Combat Patrol Box: A starter box of plastic models for a specific faction. You can assemble these quickly and can begin playing games right away.

Don’t forget tools and paint, the Warhammer 40k: Paints and Tool Set and Citadel spray primer is a great way to start building your first models. You’ll need six sided dice and a tape measure to play. Visit us if you have questions or need any help!

Community and Play
